PROVINCIAL ARCHIVES OF ALBERTA REMAINS CLOSED FOR NOW
This closure includes any programming or rentals.
The Alberta government recently announced that museums may reopen as early as May 14, 2020.
We are conducting a thorough review of the Provincial Archives to determine if we are able to reopen in the future in a safe and responsible way, while following all public health guidelines. Please keep an eye on our website for the latest updates regarding reopening.
Though closed to walk-in public access, the Provincial Archives of Alberta will remain open to phone and email inquiries and will make every effort to answer inquiries of an urgent nature. The PAA encourages researchers to access our services from home. Staff are available to answer queries and provide research assistance.
