Find Birth, Marriage and Death Records
Due to the Canada Post workers strike, the Provincial Archives of Alberta (PAA) is unable to deliver photocopied vital statistics (birth, marriage or death) records by mail. Please request a digital record for email delivery or a photocopy for in person pick up using the online payment system. You will be notified by email when your order is available for pick up. Please see the PAA website for location and hours of operation.
Please note the Provincial Archives of Alberta is closed for vital statistics retrievals between December 24, 2024 and January 1, 2025. Vital statistics requests received during this time will be processed beginning January 2, 2025. We look forward to assisting you in the New Year.
